Roost Riders Finish Strong at Montreal PDF Print E-mail

Roost Clothing would like to congratulate all its riders Kyle Beaton, PJ Stratton, Kyle Keast and Jay Burke who particpated in the Montreal Supercross on September 19th/08 at the Olympic Stadium Down town Montreal. After a bad start a crash Machine Racing/Roost rider Kyle Keast was able to battle his way up to 12th in the 450 main event. Followed By Jay Burke who ended up 17th in the 450 main event.

How ever the 250cc Class was where the Roost Riders really shined. Clearbrook Yamaha's Kyle Beaton quickly grabbed the holeshot but went down immediatly after coming in contact with another rider. PJ Stratton was able to show his supercross skills taking part in some great battle through out the track and finished 16th on the night. Kyle Keast and Jay Burke were able to battle up in the top 5 for most of the race. Jay Burke was able to hold on after a hard fought race and Earn his top 10 finish. Keast was able to Pressure Tim Trembly for 3rd for the last few laps and was able to hold on for 4th place in the main event.

Roost Would like to congratulate all its riders on thier great finishes at the 2008 Montreal Supercross.

Photo of Kyle Keast's BikeWith the 2008 National Season wrapped up and the Montreal Supercross done for, riders are in the middle of silly season trying to get themselves rides with the big teams. One of these riders right now between teams is Ontario Rider Kyle Keast.

Keast who earned number 8 for the 2008 season put in some solid rides this year with podiums at Gopher Dunes and Sand del lee rounds and many top five finishes after that. Including a 4th place finish in the 250F class at this year’s Montreal Supercross.

After Keast's hard work at contending the series as a Privateer with minimal Support he improved his national Ranking to #5. Roost Clothing was able to catch up with Kyle at his newly purchased home for a “Quick Chat “on how his season went and what’s in store for next year.
