Roost Clothing: Hey Johnny, Why dont you fill us in on what youve been up to lately?

Johnny: Well, before I got my bikes, I have just been working and going to the gym. That was basically my winter, working and going to the gym. Now that I got my bikes, I have been trying to ride as much as possible to make up for the 6 months I wasnt on the bike.

Roost:  So tell us about your set up is this year and what youll be ridding?

Johnny: I will be riding for Ignition Racing and Ultimate Toyz in Ajax. We worked a deal to ride KTMs this year, and so far so good. I will ride the Provincials here in Ontario and the Eastern Nationals.

Roost: Hows your prep going into the race season? Do you feel like your ready for round 1 in Ste. Julie?

Johnny: Good. I trained hard this winter, like I said earlier thats all I did. But nothing replaces seat time. I should be ready for Ste Julie, once I get the bike dialled in with suspension and motor stuff I will be good to go. I feel good, I just need more time on the bike.

Roost: How was the change from Honda to KTM? Was it easy to adapt?

Johnny: Well with an open mind I think anything is possible and I feel like Im doing a good job adapting. They are different then the Japanese bikes but I felt comfortable pretty fast on them. We need to work on the suspension a bit and get it to where I feel good, but other than that I think they are great.

Roost:  So what are your plans until the nationals start up?

Johnny: Ride, ride, and ride some more. Nothing replaces seat time and considering I didnt ride or race throughout the winter I feel like I have to work a little bit harder to get back up to speed, and run where I want to.

Roost: Any one you would like to thank?

Johnny: Ignition Racing and Ultimate Toyz, without them I wouldnt be riding. Justin takes good care of me and I appreciate it a ton. Roost Clothing for hooking me up with some cool clothes.

Roost: Thanks Johnny and Good luck with the Provincials this year.

Johnny: No problem.
